Come to a workshop
Each year we deliver a workshop programme to a wide range of community groups and secondary schools.
In addition to this, we have a limited number of lanterns that can be made by members of the general public.
For 2011 we are offering lantern-making workshops at our new base in the centre of Brighton
The workshops dates and times are as follows:
Big Give Special Workshops
Monday 5 December 4pm – 6pm
Tuesday 6 December 4pm – 6pm
These special workshops are being offered as part of our Big Give Christmas Challenge. If you want to take part in these you will need to donate (£5 minimum) online at the workshop when your donation will be matched by this sponsorship programme. So you will need to bring a payment card with you!

These workshops cost £8 per lantern you make (usually 1 parent and 1 child will make one together). Children as young as 3 can successfully make a lantern working with a parent!
To book a place please complete a booking form and await email confirmation before making payment. You will need to send a cheque for the full amount due in advance of your workshop, made payable to Same Sky Ltd, The Annexe, Belmont Street, Brighton, BN1 4HN.

I don celebrate christmas in the traditional sense so I look forward to the burning of the clocks because its my last day before I hybernate for winter and I get to see friends and the parade before I close down my hatches as I dont like the COLD weather and prefer to stay home cosy and warm

Last year, I and no doubt many others paid for and assembled their clocks from the kits you provided (I paid about £16 for 2 lanterns) Because of a small amount of snow, the event was cancelled and many children were dissapointed. I have saved these unused lanterns and hope that I can use them in this year's parade.
