Feeling that festive spirit and wondering how you could make a small contribution to the event? Be a supporter and get your lantern themed window sticker while helping us to work with communities and families across the city! Just send us your address and a cheque for £5 made payable to Same Sky to The old Post Office, 1 College Road, Brighton BN2 1JA and we’ll post one out to you.

BUY A LANTERN PACK

Want to make your own pyramid lantern and join the parade? You can buy a lantern kit with all the materials and instructions for making and participating. Each kit contains everything you need for two lanterns. The finished lanterns are your ticket into the parade and the VIP viewing area at the event. By buying a lantern kit, you are also helping to secure the future of Burning the Clocks.

Details of how to get your kit will be advertised here from October 2010.

HOME-MADE LANTERNS

We politely ask you not to bring your ingenious and random home-made lanterns to the event! We are required to check every lantern, and unchecked home-made versions compromise the safety of the parade. For this reason, we have produced the lantern-making kits to allow you to make safe lanterns at home. There are also volunteering opportunities if you wish to get involved in making something larger. We will refuse access to the participants viewing area for any unchecked lanterns.
